Tilting goods 90° for higher efficiency and safety

Customised tilter solution for a German metal company

A German metal manufacturer wanted to improve both efficiency and safety in their daily workflow.
The company produces coiled metal pipes that require careful handling during production and further processing.

To safely move and rotate these heavy coils, Logitrans designed a customised Logitilt solution.
Instead of standard forks, the tilter was fitted with two short, rubber-covered holders, ensuring a secure grip without damaging the valuable products.
The fork carriage was widened and equipped with a rubber protection plate, giving full support during tilting.

This tailor-made configuration enables the company to lift and tilt the coils 90°, precisely as required for the next production step.
The result is a faster, safer and more ergonomic process — with improved product protection and less strain on employees.
